My favorite Iloilo Resto: Breakthrough

The restaurant that tops my list in Iloilo is Breakthrough restaurant. Considering the restaurant is a P100 taxi ride from our hotel I believe that eating in this resto is worth it. Their wide array of grilled seafoods and meat products makes my tummy crave for everything on their menu.

One of my favorites is this "alimango" which is a thing of beauty since they will just get it from their own make shift aqaurium. The resto also has great oysters which i usually order but just did not have the guts to eat more since i had enough during lunch.

Iloilo is well known for scallops and as shown here is a meal waiting to be consumed. I love the way this restaurant cooks their scallops and their way of cooking eat made me crave for it every time we are in Iloilo. The restaurant includes a little bit of cheese to make it more sumptuous.

Jojo Recio elicits a great smile as he sips in this buko juice. The restaurant has a bounty of great drinks and wide array of food. YOu can actually eat by just using your hands or have utensils. A lot of Iloilo restos have wash stations so that you can eat whatever style you want to.

Stanley is all smiles as his request of "alimasag" was finally bestowed upon him. One thing nice about their alimasag was that it was stuffed and had a lot of muscle into it. Good for us since we enjoyed eating it.
