THE GARRIDO X'MAS

The past two Christmas seasons passed by like a blast and our family was somewhat incomplete. My eldest sister Beth was in the US trying to earn money for the family and she decided to stay there for at least two years so that what she earned will not just go to the plane fares she buys whenever she goes back every year. True enough her earnings helped us a lot. Our house needs minor renovations and she spearheaded the renovations.

Our youngest sister on the other hand missed having Christmas here in the country and with the family for the first time last year. She is now working for ABS-CBN's middle east team which is stationed in Dubai. Its a nice thing though that because of Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk and Facebook we keep in touch every single day and only her physical presence is missed. She would often talk to us, make video calls and all that stuff but I still missed her simply because back then she was my partner in crime, movie buddy and resto partner. Am just glad she came back for the holidays.

The house we live in is complete once again, would you imagine we are 17 all in all occupying the 6 bedrooms. Well, a big family has its ups and downs specially when the kids fight each other. But at the end of the day we are still love each other and hope for better things to come. I could not ask for more this Christmas since my only wish is simple, that our family is complete and that wish was granted by Kuya Jess.

Because of that the kids at home, all 9 of them were all happy with the gifts that they received from us. Imagine, after getting gifts from their parents they still got plenty of gifts from their uncles and aunties. At least the next generation of Garridos would hopefully grow up to be generous persons too. Merry Christmas to all.
