During the past five years I have always rented the CAP Development Center for our National Youth Convention. Little did I know that there is a lot of history in the venue. Just this week, while paying for the rental I chanced upon the second floor of the building and found some memorabilia. I asked the caretaker what are those and he mentioned that the place was actually the house of former President Sergio Osmeña Sr. The house was eventually sold to CAP and has since operated as a venue for various events.
