The Ateneo's fabled Blue Babble Battalion finally barged into the top 3 of the UAAP Cheer Dance competition as the men and women in Blue won 2nd place and P140,000.00 as cash prize. If not for the near flawless execution of the FEU Cheering Squad, the Blue Babble Battalion would have gotten the top plum as they edged out defending champion UP Pep Squad 83.4% to 83.1%.
After so many close calls at fourth place in the last few years the Blue Babble has finally taken out the monkey off their backs. For the record, the Blue Babble Battalion has placed fourth four times, fifth two times and sixth once. With that record the past seven years its just so sweet winning second place.
Congratulations to the Ateneo's Blue Babble Battalion. As a proud member of the squad during my time, it gives me so much pride and happiness seing a dream finally realized. One Big FIght.
