The Church was built by Jesuits and is the first church made of stone near the Tirpa de Gllina in 1603. The church became a parish in 1611 and the center of the japanese mission in 1615. The church was given to the secular priests in 1768 and to the Franciscans in 1777.
On the altar is the crucifixion scene while the seven archangels have their own statue on the altar – St. Barachiel, St. Sealtiel, St. Uriel, St. Jhudiel, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and St. Michael.
