The STI HQ Factor

a bus load of STI HQ employees ready to be deployed

I am still overwhelmed by the all out support of the whole STI Education Services Group as the whole office went to the Enchanted Kingdom to be part of the annual student's celebration of the STI Anniversary. Imagine my committee is 160 people who were all there to help in their own small way. In the past years it was really hard to pick out certain individuals to help out in the event since some had lots of things to do in the office. Well, our office has always had many busy people.

One of four network trade sales teams

One of the most important groups during our anniversary was the network trade sales group that usually sells out STI merchandise. As you very well know, we try to haggle hard with our suppliers so that we get the best quality for our merchandise at a very low price. The STI anniversary shirt alone would command a price of at least P 300 to P400 at some malls, but for us we only sold it at P 160 to our students. A great bargain with great quality, that is how we service our network. Even if the prices were cheap the team still managed P450,000 in sales!

Mark Molina and Shiela Magano helping me out

There was also a time when i would get only 30 minutes of sleep the whole night and then emcee the proceedings of the whole event the next day. It was tiring and at the same time there was no more output coming out of brain since I could barely think let alone crack more jokes since I was physically and mentally drained. Now my officemates supported me since we had a set up for two places namely the Bandstand and the Spaceport as seen in the pictures here.

In every event there are some loopholes, concerns and problems that arise. I am just happy that the problems that came out are all manageable and that they were things that even the other committee members addressed. Its so nice to note that STI HQ has a supported this event, if not It would have been hard to make the event a success. GO STI, Happy 27th Anniversary. The Food Committee fed more than 300 people
thanks for the food

Thanks Mitch Bacaron for the pictures
