STI National Volleyball League opens

 The STI National Volleyball League opened in three STI Gyms in Cubao, Global City and Batangas City as twelve games started off this Nationwide Women's Volleyball competition.


In STI College Cubao, STI College Fairview tested the mettle of STI College Shaw and the team from Quezon City bested their Shaw counterparts and came out as the first day winners.



The STI National Volleyball League attracted a total of 44 teams Nationwide with thirty teams from Luzon, four from the Visayas region and ten from Mindanao.

The Luzon teams are grouped into six clusters with Luzon one having six teams, Luzon 2 - 5 having five teams and Luzon six having four teams. Each group will play in a round robin system for the first round and sixteen teams will advance to the knock out round which is the second phase of the tournament. From 16 the teams will go through a knock-out system to determine the six teams representing Luzon. One team will represent the Visayas and another team will represent Mindanao.




The eight teams will play in April in the National Finals wherein the best volleyball team of STI will be determined. So let's spike and volley to see who the best female volleybelles will be crowned National Champions.
