Since Mobile Application development became the focal point of the NYC for the ICT and Engineering students, STI then partnered with Globe Telecoms to see how Mobile Apps are in the Telco industry. In comes Mr. Mark Bantigue who is the Business Development Director of Globe Telecoms.  Mark brings with his experience in the Telco Business and also in the Mobile App industry. Before he entered Globe he was the Marketing Manager of Groupon. Mark handles G Movies and challenged the STI students to take a look at the G Movies App and give suggestions on how to improve it.

Ricky has been a faculty member of STI College Bacoor since 1996 teaching IT subjects.  He has helped the STI head office Training group in various training events which referred him as one of the speakers for the STI IT Caravan back in 2002.  Since then he was part of the STI IT Caravan team which talked to more than 3,000 High School students per session in 40 sites nationwide.  He was eventually invited to talk to STI’ers in the NYC after a few years.  Ricky is best remembered for his participation in the 15th, 16th, 18th and 19th NYC handling various topics that needed his expertrise. He was also given numerous awards namely "Faculty with a Heart" in 2001 and "Excellence in School Management and Community Involvement" in 2003.He was a Top Rated Faculty Trainer and a curriculum developer/ consultant for DCET and Computer Engineering courses. He was also the adviser of the Association of Computer Technician Students (ACTS) that won the national award for "Outstanding STI Student Organization" in 2001. He was also the Thesis Adviser of the STI national award "Most Outstanding Thesis Project for BSCS/BSIT" in 2008. He was the first recognized TESDA Accredited Assessor for "Computer Hardware Servicing NC 2" in the province of Cavite. A MSEE major in Computer Engineering graduate of TUP and a Doctor of Technology (ABD) also from the same university.

He is now known as the Pinoy Steve Jobs, the wonder kid who solved a perennial school problem and was rewarded by being the Chief Executive Office of his own company Orange Apps Inc. He was 19 years old when he started his company while he was a Junior at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.  Using an android phone, Gian created a Mobile Application that helped solve PUP’s enrolment problem as most of the 70,000 students patronized his Mobile app, and the rest is history as he puts it. He later on sought help for his company and through the leading incubator in the country, Ideaspace foundation, Microsoft Corporation (Bizpark Program) and Angel investors from South East Asia he got the needed funding and mentorship to carry on his vision of changing people’s lives through education.

Howard started out as a Computer Science student but ended up graduating with a degree in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University. He then taught for four years and went into the corporate world. He was with Digitel Mobile Philppines Inc. for nearly seven years wherein he was once the Vice-President for Sales & Distribution. He then shifted careers and became a Mobile Game developer as he co-founded Mochibits.com. Howard is involved with the game level content design, concept design monetization and programming of their products. To sum it all up, he involved in almost everything. He is now earning more than what he was earning when he was in the corporate world.
