MORE PROJECTS 

Hoping for more exposure

Financially I was much rewarded because of the numerous hosting stints and sidelines that I got this year. I have not been marketing myself, just referrals but there was a lot this year. I hope the trend continues and I pray I will get lots of projects so that I can buy better lens for my camera or additional gadgets for Photography! Hahaha. In a way I was blessed financially last year and I am praying that the Lord will bless me again this year.

 MORE TRIPS

Hope to have more scenes like this in the airport

Imagine me going to Dos Palmas and wasn’t even able to blog about it. Well I had nice trips in 2008 and I hope there will be a lot more places to explore in the coming year. The one that really topped my list is the trip to MACAU. It’s a place of beauty and I am really happy that I got to be there for almost a week and enjoyed the food.  I am now thinking of other places to conquer.

 

LESS HEALTH PROBLEMS

If my foot problems hold then I can dance this way

The last time I got to be out for a week in office was in 2002 when I was in the hospital because of an infected kidney.  Last june I was out for almost two weeks because of my high levels of uric acid.  I hope I can stay away from food that will not affect my inner organs and more importantly affect my everyday life.

 

MORE SAVINGS

No money no honey

This is very important, Obviously I think I need to cut down on some of my expenses and prioritize the things that I need this year in order for me to add more savings. I have always said that time and again but I hope that I can make headway this year and cut down on things that I don’t need and begin to be more sensitive in getting money out of my pocket.

 

BETTER WORK OUTPUT

I lost this team and hope my new one can follow through

My 2007 Promotions Team was overhauled 100% as I now have three new faces in my team. The valuable inputs of my former staff will be missed and my task now is to continue the work and hope that I put my people up to speed. I am optimistic though because the attitude of the people I work with are quite good, that alone is already a good start.

BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD

My work has really eaten up a lot of my time. Gone were the days that I use to staff full time in almost all Days with the Lord weekends that I get to be invited in.  The DWTL has been the catalyst in making my relationship with the Lord stong. This year I just hope that with or without the DWTL I would be able to improve my relationship with the Lord and spread his word through my good deeds.  I am happy that I am able to live by example the word of the Lord and infect my “babies” and other young friends I get to work with.  I hope that I will be able to lead the way and inspire them to live a Christ like life.  I miss the days that I get to be inspired by God’s word alone and I hope this year it will all come back. Ad majorem dei Gloriam.

BLUE EAGLES TO REPEAT

For me the most important thing to happen in 2009 is for the Ateneo Blue Eagles to win back to back titles.  I hope that their recent in the Philippine Collegiate Championships would alarm the team and make them work hard for a better season 72. The core is almost intact and they will need 6 more months of fine tuning to be able for them to familiarize each other with the roles that they will be playing. FEU and DLSU will still be the teams to beat and hopefully the Blue Eagles will celebrate with another bonfire with the Blue Eaglets.

I still believe that my photography has a long way to go. In a scale of 1 to 10 I rate myself a measly four.  I just hope that through the events that we will have this year I will continue to improve my photography and who knows maybe get some jobs in the future.  I just hope that we can still cover pageants, sporting events and have pictorials that can make me improve my photography skills more.

MORE EVENTS 

More quality pageants please

This school year we had 6 additional pageants that we sponsored –Turismo PIlipina, Face of the Year, Circle of 10, Slimmer’s World, Mr. and Ms. Tutuban and Island Philippines. Also the numerous requests in the office to help out in almost all 25^th year anniversary events are most welcome.  I am just uncomfortable not doing anything in the office. I have always said that being busy is better than having no work at all. 

MORE FRIENDS 

Lara is a nice person & I hope to be a friend of hers

Life is all about meeting people and making friends and becoming close to them. I believe that the friends we meet will someday make us either sad or happy with emphasis on being happy.  The lifeblood of one’s stay in this world is the time spent with our friends. That is why I hope I make new friends this year!
